Ready for Raptus
This weekend Aksel, Seth and I are off to Bergen for the Raptus International Comics Festival, along with brand new Anakata artist Anna Bruce.
Stop by our table for a chat or some shopping; we will be selling Wakan Unwanted and the Moebius strip print version of The Time I Went Looking for the Buddha, as well as some cool merchandise.
But the most important reason to spend some time at the Anakata table: We want you – yes, you – to rise to the comic jam challenge! Improvise a three-panel comic in five minutes and prove to the world that you are the next Don Rosa!
Look forward to seeing you in the rainy city!

OCX reigns supreme
This year’s Oslo Comics Expo is over, and we had the best time ever. Big thanks to all, especially the OCX crew and the 50+ beautiful and talented people who rose to the Anakata comic jam challenge! We will post your strips as soon as our scanners allow.
But that is not the only reason to keep watching this space. New projects and developments are in the works, and we will soon be making some cool announcements. Unless WikiLeaks beats us to it.

Anakata Comics at OCX 2010 this weekend
Oslo Comics Expo is happening May 28 and 29. We will be there, and are launching a whole bunch of stuff on the Saturday:
- Wakan Unwanted #2: A Red Bird’s Plight
- Norse Codes #1: First Night
- The Time I Went Looking for the Buddha (printed edition)
Wakan Unwanted #0 and #1 will also be for sale, along with some pretty cool merchandise.
We are also organising a highly informal comic jam competition throughout Saturday, so stop by our table and spend five minutes exercising your cartooning muscles!
See you Saturday!
- Lars
